Project Aim

In the computer age technology enables people to become closer; on the other hand it puts them in different corners so that they are no longer as interested in each other. It is important for people as human beings to share feelings and thoughts, and to communicate with each other.”Harmony” is a school partnership project in intercultural education which aims to increase communication among people from different cultures by presenting traditional holiday foods and clothing and their national celebrations and religious feasts to the partners. In our project we will make friends from abroad and show our traditions in our region where people still celebrate feasts and special days in historically traditional ways. This project will develop the relationship between the partners. It will promote the understanding of the diversity of cultures and finding similarities among and differences between their eating habits, clothes, and national and religious ceremonies within the European Union. Teachers and pupils will play an active role.

We believe that this partnership will be of great value both for our students and teachers. The project will be like a bridge between all partners and their cultures and it will broaden the knowledge of our students about other ways of celebration, living, thinking and feeling.
